NOTE: This product is only the adapter for the gas bottle! You will need to have the 2.0 SodaStream package or a remote gas line to set it up as shown with the line between the keg and regulator!
For a much larger and cheaper source of CO2 or Nitrogen you can use the iKegger 2.0 regulator with 2.2L disposable gas bottles (these are available from us and you local plumbing or welding supply shop).
Simply screw this adapter into the threaded inlet on the iKegger 2.0 regulator and screw in the gas bottle (the bottle has a valve so the adapter can be removed at any time without leaking if you want to swap back to bulbs for portablility).
Note For 1st Time Use:
- Unscrew the pin so it doesn't activate valve
- Screw the adapter onto the gas bottle.
- Use the screw driver to screw in pin till it makes contact with the gas bottle valve.
- Remove the adapter from the botle then screw the pin in another 1/4 turn or so.
- Now put the adapter into the regulator, then attach to the gas bottle and test.
- It should activate the valve now. You only need to do this the 1st time you use it.
You can get the gas bottles here:
CO2 - 2.2L Disposable gas bottles (approx 140 x 8g CO2 bulbs)
Pure Nitrogen - 2.2L Disposable Gas Bottles (approx 140 x 2g N2 bulbs)
*DANGER: DO NOT USE THIS ADAPTER ON A NITROGEN GAS BOTTLE WITH MINI REGULATORS OTHER THAN THE iKEGGER 2.0 MULTI-GAS MINI REGULATOR.
